Bama or Miami, who gets in?

Don't care what the media says, they've been wrong this whole time. IMO it's coming down to these two teams for the final spot. Who you got? Im taking Bama. Still dont think the SEC runner-up gets left out. I think Miami is the first out and I will have a massive smile across my face tomorrow if that happens. As I said weeks ago when the ACC/national media smear campaign against ND started, these morons shouldve been targeting Bama not ND. According to the metrics that mattered they had a much better argument to be in over Bama than ND. Now Bama got smacked in the SEC title game and you wasted all your time trying to sabotage ND. The ACC is literally run by a bunch of clowns.

Think it’s bama and this is the exact reason the flipped nd and bama last week. It certainly wasn’t what happened on the field

I do believe Bama is better and I believe they are more deserving even with an extra loss. Two of three losses are to top ten teams.

Miami. Bama is 2-2 over their last 4 games. Wins over Eastern IL and a bad Auburn team. Blown out tonight by a legit team.

Miami. They're played much better since the initial playoff rankings, while Alabama has played worse since then. Alabama can't run, and they can't even pass the ball well anymore.

Agree, I just wonder if a 21-point loss changes things in Miami's favor. I really thought 2 possessions or less loss for Bama and they were a lock. 3-TD loss ugh I dont know.

They have a common opponent, right? Bama lost to FSU and Miami beat FSU.

I do think it pretty clearly comes down to those two regardless of what Herbstreit tries to sell. Booger now saying the exact same thing. “I’m comparing ND and Alabama.” And he thinks Bama gets the spot. Shocker.

“SEC runner-up” is a fun title when there are three SEC teams with better records who are ranked higher than Bama. These bloated conferences are dumb.

Miami only won 9 games v FBS opponents. ND won ten.

Miami should make it, they'll probably go with Alabama

No. I think Miami is getting hosed by the ACC and SEC, not ND. Miami has two loses by a combined nine points. Bama lost by 14 to a five-win team. Notre Dame and Miami’s four combined loses are by fewer points combined than two separate Bama loses.

Miami should get in over Alabama, but I’m not sure because of Bama‘s gutsy -3 yard rushing performance against Georgia. Their lone touchdown nearly made a game of it.
