If Bama loses by double digits I’m not sure how they are in. At some point the Florida state loss has to factor in over other competitors.

I don’t think Bama has any business in the playoffs. Theyve gotten worse all year and are lucky Georgia dropped a wide open TD late in that 1st game.

They’ve already ignored it by putting Notre Dame in front of Miami, while using the head to head win to justify Texas in front of Vandy (which for the record Texas’ resume is clearly better).

I just don’t see them penalizing a team for making it to a championship game. If they did that then the championship games would cease to exist and the conference commissioner’s would be irate. I would love to be wrong with Bama being the team in question, but can you imagine if UT was in that position?

If the game is close, but if this turns into a 31-7 type of Georgia win doesn’t that need to matter ?

And Georgia's not lucky to not have a second loss? You can find the luck factor in every one's resume.

Again, if it does then teams would start refusing to play in championship games.

GA has gotten better. And they sure don’t look like they wish they weren’t there thru early Q3

T-Town might burn to the ground if this game costs them the CFP

They definitely are. But Bama hasn’t looked like a great team for several weeks now. Simpson has played poorly for several weeks now.

I don’t think Bama is great but they should not get punished by having to play this game. Oklahoma is a 2 loss team that is safely and would also have gotten blow out tonight. Instead they are home resting and safely in.

Oklahoma is a good bit better than Bama as evidenced by rolling into Tuscaloosa and winning. Bama isn’t very good.
