I've seen Kyle Tucker and Aaron Torres post about it....I get it....he's their buddy and all and they like him, but he's not the man for the job.
Everyone is talking about how he's REVIVED DePaul basketball, that's interesting?
They're 16-13 in a bad Big East Conference. Just this year....
But his buddies in the media are bragging about a 16-13 team....yet they aren't mentioning he hired Tony Stubblefield who went 10-23 & then they went 3-29 the year he was fired. Yes, DeWayne Peevy's first big basketball hire ended up with a 3-29 team his 3rd year.
He was a basketball guy when he was here. He's at a school that does not have football. I think he's a great guy, but he's done nothing. He was basically the go-between with Cal and Mitch. But it's a new era....

If that were to be the hire (and I know absolutely nobody cares) but what little I still care about college athletics would be over, at least from the UK side of things.

Live in Chicago area and will take up for him here. Depaul being above 500 is remarkable. There is absolutely ZERO support at that institution. It's largely a commuter school, very little campus life, no fan support, etc. I'm not saying he's the right guy just that IDK if you can fairly measure him based on that program.

Is there a worse P5 school for sports in America than DePaul, though?

Need an AD with football experience, he doesn’t have that.
Don’t want him and I don’t want Baker and Hill(although of those 3 I’d take Hill).

He's a good man and has a great family. Not sure I'd want him here for his own sake.

Probably not hot on him either way, but to know how I'd feel about Peevy, I'd want to know if there was anything to the Trilly rumor that he was somehow involved in the shenanigans of the final Cal days. If so, then that was really strange and unprofessional.

Met with him multiple times. He's a great guy, but he is not the right person for this job. There are probably 50 better candidates.

He's a good person, but that doesn't make him qualified for this role. We can do much better.

In hindsight of out of names been listed for candidates not at Kentucky right now, He would be most likely to say yes as soon as he was offered the job.
