6'3, 220 lbs with a 36-inch vertical is a great combination of size and explosiveness. Then he has production. Classic MIKE who closes a lot of ground quickly on film. Really good lateral agility too I thought in addition to the straight-line speed.

Another class wrapped up at LB with 3 Iowa kids who are good athletes and willing to be coached up.

Tbh, our linebacker room is stacked, so if we offered him he must project very well.

Great get here πŸ’ͺ Just an opinion but see DL here. JC31 was 6’4” 210 as a senior in HS and he grew into a beast after a couple years in the Iowa system. This kid is 6’3” 220 as a Jr with a frame to easily add 40lbs in 2 yrs. Calling a more athletic version of Karl Klug.

Or a starter kit for another campbell..

Sounds good. Time for you to upgrade him to 5*....I'll wait.

The guy looks like a cross between Campbell and Greenway. He has first round draft pick written all over him, per film analysis.

Great read and recognition. Get to the ball carrier in a hurry and is a sure tackler. Great pickup.

I know absolutely nothing … but I see why we took a 3rd LB when we didn’t need a 3rd…. He’s way to good to let slip to another school

No offense to the kid, but I’m kind of surprised they didn’t slow play him or offer walk-on spot for now with 2 LBs committed and Iowa being his only P4 offer. How many more are we taking in this class? I take it they must really like him.

I wonder if they were worried ISU would offer since supposedly he grew up a fan of them.

It blows my mind that they didn't offer. They definitely need talent in that program...poor evaluating. I know those idiots think they have the next Curt Cignetti over there but they don't.

No. We don't need a 260 pound DT, all due respect to Klug. That was almost 20 years ago. It's changed a little bit since then. What he looks like is an athletic LB who can add 15 to 20 pounds. Not 40. Why do we get players at one position and the immediate reaction is to put them in another position?

Football has changed a ton in two decades. We are seeing vastly different offenses now than when Klug played.

Klug was an nfler up until 10 years ago.. obviously the nfl doesn't compare to college in your opinion.. lol
