Their fall back to earth will be sweet. Saban said reaching the top is one thing, but staying there is entirely different.

I would rather us just get better than coping and insisting they will fall off for no reason

Cigneti turned someone you could pull for by turning indiana into a champion to someone I can't stand by being a asshat instead of being humble.

Not sure I have ever hated a program more than I currently do iu and that’s saying something. That being said, if Deboer allows another team to quit the way they did twice at the end of the season so the rest of the country can laugh at us everyone should have a huge problem with it. This stuff is embarrassing right now

It’s just insane to see the mentality that Bama had be lost over a few years

For real anyone comparing this dude even remotely to Saban needs to get their eyes and ears checked. In no universe would Saban tolerate the complete ass-out clown behavior that has come out of the iu program last 2 months

That’s what I’m saying - it’s wild. Feels like these new players have Bama arrogance from the past

It’s true - but I’m sure there were similar quotes from GA Tech in 1990…

We can’t complain. It’s the exact same mentality that Saban had. Do we not remember the “make their ass quit” speech?

I hope Cignetti gets his too, but be plays 6 warmup games before he gets to Ohio State and Michigan. All he has to do is split with them, and he can still lose another to USC or someone and make the playoffs.

This season we will find out what kind of coach DeBoer truly is imo. Once is a fluke, twice is a coincidence, 3 times is a pattern. If he allows teams to continue to beat the breaks off of us with no fight to respond, then we’ll know. Big year 3

I was stating two things. Fact: Saban did say that. My opinion: I guess I should explain my opinions. They are mine and I couldn't give two shxts what you think about them.

If Indiana was built on older experienced players, where were they in the draft?

They had 8 drafted, including the #1 pick. But some of those older guys were not great NFL prospects, that’s why they were still in college for year 5 and 6.
