If Lane leaves and Florida hires Sumrall

Only option we're left with is to elevate Pete IMHO. I know he would work his ass off and his family loves Oxford. Lane's stalling would have killed any chance we have to continue developing the program with so much demand and so few candidates.

There are plenty of other options. That’s just silly.

If anyone is elevated, it will be Joe Judge, who I actually think would do a very good job… But we aren’t nearly at that point yet

Golesh Brent Key Jedd Fisch I also don’t buy that we’re out on Sumrall. Using “timing” as the excuse just doesn’t make sense unless he’s announced at Florida or Auburn in the next 48 hours.

Let it happen. Whatever it might be.

If Kiffin’s delay costs us getting a good coach, he may need full time security.

There are so many possibilities. Wild ones? Gruden, Monken, Saban. Crazy ones? Fisch, Silverfield, Dabo, Lebby. Realistic ones? Kiffin, Judge, Golding. Whatever happens, happens.

Not when you have $13M to offer and a program to the point we do today. There aren’t many coaches that wouldn’t immediately ask for a pen.

Kinda telling that the only ones comparable and desirable on the entire list are Kiffin and Saban. And of those two, the only one to excel in the portal is Kiffin. I’m afraid we will be in for a rude awakening if he leaves.

Kiffin being offered 13 doesn’t mean other candidates will. They won’t. It doesn’t work that way.

I just don’t believe Golding is head coach material. I do believe he does a good job at adjusting the defense at halftime, except for sticking with rushing only 3 & dropping back 8.

Jedd Fisch? Oof. So at this point it’s land Golesh or go tits up.

Half the coaches in the NFL make less than $6M. You can’t tell me that an agent wouldn’t pick up the phone when you have double that in your pocket.

I don’t know what he will be 10 years from now, but right now Pete Golding is not SEC head coach material. He’s not head coach material of any kind. To his credit, he’s not really trying to be and doesn’t really want to be for the time being. He sits up in the box and dips and drinks Red Bull while showering about twice a week. A true defensive coordinator that is doing a good job. Just leave the guy alone and quit trying to make him the next Matt Luke disaster.

Fisch is a good coach. You can do a ton worse than him leading your program. Plus you’re going to have a good shot at having Williams as your QB. Would much rather have him as HC and Golding as DC than promoting Pete

You’re not getting a sitting NFL head coach. Come on
