After Saturday I would think coaches look at the 3 jobs and probably see us as the most win now ready job. Obviously you can win at any of them, but we definitely seem the most functional right now.

my biggest "issue" or "complaint" with the national guys (nakos, pate, thamel) is that they go and write an article or do a show and just regurgitate the info that is already on the board. They could boost the mods/site viewership and report a mod's article to a much bigger audience while giving the mod credit, instead they just rewrite an article, slap their name on it, and call it insider info

its honestly probably both, sure he is a big candidate for this job but his name gets pumped repeatedly to keep other candidate's names from getting in the headline just in case it's not hem

Nakos reporting always feels like it’s a week behind

Auburn team hasn’t given up like UF, or LSU that’s for sure. Guys continue to play hard, and the possible talent retention with fan support has to be enticing for the next coach.

What is wrong with finding a young up and coming coach from G5? I am not saying it is good or bad, just curious why it would be such a bad thing. What proven P4 coach out there is taking this job? Maybe a retread like Freeze, but I can almost guarantee no established P4 coach with any upside is coming to Auburn. Cohen could surprise me, but tell me a good P4 coach is leaving the program he has built to come take on a rebuilding project in the toughest conference in America in the shadow of Tuscaloosa and Athens.

Hell we should be further ahead of everybody in the process. We’ve got plenty of practice in coaching searches

all the smoke with Sumrall really makes me think it will not be him based on how Cohen has handled these searches in the past

The coach that lands at a program is almost never the one that is the presumed favorite
