based on what I’ve read so far, we can expect….
- Hybrid offense - built on the spread with some pro-style sprinkled in.
- wide zone blocking scheme.
- running game that tries to get wide, not a lot of inside actions.
- utilizes smaller, faster, shiftier running backs
- WR screens are a backbone of the offense. Expect 8-10 per game
- 3-5 yard quick hitches to the hash mark are another staple. Expect 8-10 per game.
- RPOs are also a staple. The designed QB run will be returning to Lexington.
- averages 2 “deep shots” per quarter - mostly to keep defense honest. Not gonna hit a ton of them, but defense has to be ready for them.

Gonna be interesting to see how his personality translates. He’s a very unemotional, laid back, almost quiet guy. That meshes great with a head coach like Lanning who is a stick of dynamite.
Does he have it in him to be the bulldog he’s gonna need to be to lead a team and go toe to toe with opposing SEC coaching bulldogs? I don’t know, but we’ll find out.

This seems very accurate and makes me think the most important part to our team next year is having good, explosive WRs. I also think Cutter will be great in this scheme.

My biggest thing he does that I love is a lot of 21 personnel. Uses multiple RBs in both the pass and run game so no matter what personnel the defense is in, all 6 guys have to accounted for both running and receiving

Also expect Willie to be an all American next year. Sadiq for Oregon is the best TE in football and Stein feeds him the rock. Willie can have a major major impact next year under Stein

I have watched every Oregon game for 10+ years and every game Stein has called. The offense is efficient, easy, and fun

If it’s Stein i’m not sure we’ll have to worry about Cutter. Rumor seems to suggest Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele will be someone Stein looks to poach, and he probably sends Cutter to the portal.

I didn't realize this until now, but Oregon really uses 4 different RBs this year and they all average over 6 YPC which is unreal. It sounds like we will be getting rid of the Stoops mindset of having one good RB and only using him.
