So Pete just tossing out BAMA staff's names right and left. lol Odd isn't it that none of these HC 'prospects' mention any coach at Ohio State, Michigan, OU, or uga... I mean these are consistently winning programs, but, if coaching searches come around, it seems like BAMA always has names 'emerging' in these searches. Pete got Shep, Mo, Kane (this one makes sense to me being an Ark alum), and Grubb. At least he didn't mention Debo for Ped State.

Everyone wants to hate on Bama and our new staff until it’s time for a new coach. We can’t keep any continuity for shit

It's probably not a matter of if, but when Kane takes another job. He was a HC before, and I'm sure that's still his end goal. That said, I'd be really bummed to lose him this fast. I'd love to see another year or two of this defensive scheme.

They’ll spin their heads in circles on DeBoer until whoever it actually is gets announced. I hope all those Ped State board members trash that guy afterwards.

Wommack will be a hot commodity so it’s interesting to see if he’s picky (I think he should be) or wants to get right back in the HC chair. Sheppard is least likely to leave. This seems like he’s just starting to get his name out there on the HC circuit. He could blow a school away in his interview of course but I think this is just the beginning stages for him.

lol Grubb has as much of a chance to land a HC gig as Nuñez right now.

All jokes aside it’s pretty impressive that PSU has kept their search so tight lipped that even Pete can’t get a good pulse on it

Just tossing out? Kane has spoken to Arkansas, Shep has spoken to Oregon State. You want him to pretend that didn't happen? That would be weird.

Shep's name was thrown around last year too, no?

He gave up South to go prove himself at a higher conference and get another job,

I’d love to have him another season as would most but IMO none could blame him for taking the Arky job considering his ties there.

Weird Pete didn’t mention in his article that I spoke to Arkansas and Oregon State too. Told them both our guys aren’t available

Odd how? Are you surprised people aren't clamoring for Mike Bobo or Matt Patricia?

We've been told by those close to the program that it isn't going well. They've offered or shown interest in guys who didn't reciprocate.

Well you aren't allowed to leave the state yet. That's why.

Some always see a conspiracy. Grubb being mentioned is the least surprising thing ever.

I truly don't get what makes this job special. It's a good job, but they've been plagued by scandal and just fired a coach who was a 10-win machine.
