Gonna miss Skyy but a consummate Bruin who should be remembered very fondly.

lol so much for the home town agents helping us out. Best of luck to you and your family, Skyy.

Mick has to land 3 starters in the portal now. Considering his track record, I don’t feel too good about this

This encapsulates how crazy things are: the program negotiates with a player who's not yet eligible, represented by an agent who was a member of the team a year ago.
I'll miss Skyy...as will with the team, but sheesh...

Does this reopen the Johnson door?

Best of luck to Skyy, but its hilarious to me that Seidler is acting as his agent and we're already "out" of the running for a guy who may not even be eligible next year. So now we have to replace 3/5 of a starting lineup, including arguably the 3 best players, from a mediocre team. Next year is not going to be fun.

Glad it happened now versus 2 weeks from now. Best of luck Skyy

Dang if there was anything to take away from the Women's team is that senior leadership matters. I really wanted him to be back of all the guards. I wonder if someone offered more money or big names coming in?

well at least mick can get ahead of a possibly denied waiver and fill his spot.

Bad news. Skyy was lethal from 3 and played great d. Any* guard we bring into replace Skyy will have to adjust to the Mick Cronin learning curve.
*unless Amari Bailey miraculously becomes eligible.

Agree with a lot of the comments, best to get closure now we can move on. Besides losing Mara, the timing was a killer.

Totally meaningless if the waiver gets denied. Wish the best for him. Many posters were skeptical when he first came to UCLA, was a great addition to the program.

Better to know now and we can craft a gameplan from here. I loved Skyy's toughness and 3 point shooting, but I didn't like him paired in the backcourt with Trent...........too small. He will likely not be granted another year, so let's go get an athletic and taller wing.

I would have loved to have been there to see Mick’s face when walk-on Jack Seidler goes like, “3 million for Skyy Clark.” Hahahah. Someone fix college basketball and give us Mara back for reparations!

Love Skyy and maybe an unpopular opinion but pairing Skyy with Trent didn’t make sense. Now we have an opportunity to get a guard that can handle the ball a little better and more athletic upside.

Tracy, is this an indication of NIL drying up?
Or was this a strategic decision, and Mick didn’t want to wait for a waiver/wants to pursue a different kind of player?

Seidler gonna be running some extra 17s next practice

As his agent, Seidler's loyalty should obviously be to his client, Skyy.
And you guys have no faith in Christian Horry, huh? Maybe since Trent is a combo he can play the 1 and 2 at the same time.
