In a wild second-half finish, Louisville managed to hold off a furious comeback from Georgia Tech to win 84-74. The Cardinals continued what they started in the first half by extending their lead to as many as 27 points, but the Yellow Jackets fought back in incredible fashion. A 19-0 run brought them back to within eight points, and ultimately a pair of clutch shots from Jarrod West killed all momentum. With the win, Louisville will advance to play No. 6 seed Virginia in the second round of the ACC Tournament.

Play continues throughout the week, with plenty on the line ahead of Selection Sunday. Entering the tournament, several teams are fighting for their NCAA Tournament lives. Duke is playing for a top seed, while UNC’s season-ending victory over the Blue Devils was likely enough to punch its own NCAA ticket. Notre Dame and Wake Forest are also likely in, but will need to get at least one win this week to secure their seeding. Meanwhile, Miami, Virginia Tech, and Virginia need a strong showing this week to earn a bid.

Stay tuned throughout the day for live updates on the ACC tournament.
