With just a couple weeks left in the regular season, the 2022 Heisman Trophy picture is coming into focus. There appears to be some separation for the four spots in New York, based on the latest odds from Vegas oddsmakers.

Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud remains the favorite to win the award, according to VegasInsider, closely followed by Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker, North Carolina star Drake Maye and Michigan running back Blake Corum. After Corum, there’s a drop-off between his odds and those of USC quarterback Caleb Williams.

With Georgia standout Stetson Bennett close behind Williams, there’s an even bigger gap between Bennett and TCU quarterback Max Duggan.

Here are the latest Heisman Trophy odds, according to VegasInsider.

2022 Heisman Trophy odds

Stroud, who finished fourth in the Heisman Trophy voting last year behind Young, is in the midst of another impressive season for Ohio State. He has thrown for 2,750 yards and 34 touchdowns — tied with Maye for the most in the nation this year. He’s helped the Buckeyes to a perfect 10-0 record and put them in position to be on a collision course with Corum and Michigan in The Game Nov. 26.

Hooker, meanwhile, is one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the country. He has 2,888 passing yards and 24 touchdowns to his name, but he’s also run for 405 yards and five scores on the ground to help Tennessee to an impressive season. The Volunteers defeated Young and Alabama earlier in the year before falling to Georgia, but still find themselves in the hunt for a College Football Playoff spot.

Corum is the top running back on the list as he puts together a huge year for Michigan. He stepped into the lead running back role this year after the departure of Hassan Haskins and is making the most of the opportunity, ranking third in the nation with 1,349 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns on the year.
