Chesapeake (Va.) Western Branch four-star offensive tackle Cam’Ron Warren announced his top 10 schools on Monday afternoon. The list includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Jackson State, Kentucky, LSU, Maryland, North Carolina, Ole Miss and Penn State.
Warren is the No. 201 overall prospect and No. 12 offensive tackle in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 4 player in Virginia.
On3 rates Warren higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 83 overall prospect, No. 6 offensive tackle and No. 1 player in Virginia.
Of his finalists, Warren has only taken unofficial visits to North Carolina, Ole Miss and Penn State. The Tar Heels received his most recent visit on July 30.
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, it is a close race for his commitment. Of his top 10 schools, North Carolina is currently leading for his pledge at 19%. Penn State has the next-best chance at 16.3%, while Ole Miss has the third-best odds at 13.5%.
RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
Warren has an On3 NIL Valuation of $11.2K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
