1:53 p.m. CT — West: Charleston Collins has been very good today. He just made a nice play for a TFL. – Mike Singer

1:52 p.m. CT — West: It is a borderline downpour out here right now the ball is extremely slippery, and people are having a hard time catching the football. – Cody Bellaire

1:51 p.m. CT — West: Rain is coming down heavier as 11-on-11 begins. The first play was a screen out to Gatlin Bair, who tried to catch the ball with his hands, but it bounced off them and went about five yards backward. On the next play, a tipped pass at the line resulted in a Kolaj Cobbins interception. – Mike Singer

1:48 p.m. CT — East: Really like CB Marcellus Barnes’ movement skills. He’s polished and a plus athlete. The uncommitted CB announces on Saturday — Syracuse is trending per the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. – Charles Power

1:48 p.m. CT — West: Not much to take away from the one-on-ones with receivers and defensive backs. The period ended with the nice pass break up Marcelles Williams on a deep route. The rain is coming down steady. – Mike Singer

1:40 p.m. CT — East: Watching the East DL drills — Jeremiah Beaman showing good flexibility while Bryce Young has flashed active hands. – Charles Power

1:39 p.m. CT — West: We’re getting a good bit of rain now in the already cold conditions as the skill guys start one-on-one. Quarterbacks are struggling. – Mike Singer

1:35 p.m. CT — East: Very impressive day for Georgia signee NiTareon Tuggle who is not only a big-framed receiver but separates with good body control. TJ Moore is showing off incredible hands and has made some spectacular grabs in contested catch situations today. Definitely a stock-up candidate for this analyst at East. – Sam Spiegelman

1:32 p.m. CT — East: Penn State TE signee Luke Reynolds has impressed with his fluidity as a route runner. He has an ideal skill set for the position in the modern climate. – Charles Power

1:30 p.m. CT — East: Extremely slow start to the PM practice on the East. Currently going through position work. Continue to be very impressed by TJ Moore and Jeremiah Smith catching passes. – Charles Power

1:24 p.m. CT — West: Charleston Collins makes it look so easy when working bag drills. So bendy and smooth. – Cody Bellaire

1:12 p.m. CT — West: Back underway at practice with Team West. Starting off with individual work. – Cody Bellaire

Practices will resume at 1:15 p.m. CT.

Recapping the morning session for the East: Certainly one of the headliners coming in was five-star OT Josiah Thompson, South Carolina signee. Lived up to that hype, particularly in one-on-ones. He’s lining up at guard but showed a fantastic anchor, particularly for a player who is around 265 pounds. He won all of his one-on-one reps that we saw and really is an effortless mover. Twitchy athlete who looked very natural getting to the second level. But just the core strength and ability to sit down and stone some very good defensive lineman at the point of attack was a pleasant surprise given his size.

At receiver, I think the strongest morning session was Clemson signee TJ Moore. Just fantastic ball skills, elite ball skills on display. Won every single one-on-one rep we saw him take. Had several high-point grabs leaping over defensive backs. Also a pretty good route-runner as well. Just had a ton of great catches.

The best DB in one-on-ones is uncommitted safety Trajen Greco. I think he won every one-on-one rep we saw. Just very instinctive and smooth in coverage.

Jeremiah Smith, Five-Star Plus+ No. 1 receiver prospect, looked outstanding as well. A very advanced release package. Gets off the line with ease and he’s a big receiver at 6-foot-3, 215 pounds. Just has the skill set of a smaller player despite his size. Also showed good tracking ability as well.

Several others who stood out — Wisconsin offensive tackle signee Kevin Heywood looked good in one-on-ones, had a dominant one-on-one rep. Penn State tight end signee Luke Reynolds is a top tight end in San Antonio and looked the part in one-on-ones, won both of his reps including a diving catch. And also LSU receiver signee Kylan Billiot has been a pleasant surprise. He’s shown improved ball skills to go with his twitchy athleticism. I would also add Georgia safety signee KJ Bolden. Showed good coverage throughout one-on-ones. Even when he lost a rep, he was in good position and also just moving at a high level. – Charles Power

12:30 p.m. CT — West: We are on break now and will return to the field in 45 minutes! Weather is making things a little sloppy out here at West practice. A lot of guys playing tight and cold out here. – Cody Bellaire

Recapping the morning session for the West: Just wrapped 11-on-11. Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa, Justin Scott and Aaron Flowers looked the best defensively. On offense, Terrell Anderson, Courtney Crutchfield and Trey Owens flashed. – Mike Singer

11:39 a.m. CT — East: Josiah Thompson was a clear standout in the OL/DL 1-on-1s, showing a surprising anchor at 265 pounds while lining up at guard despite projecting at OT. – Charles Power

11:32 a.m. CT — East: Kevin Heywood ragdolls Stanford signee Dylan Stephenson who takes a swing at Heywood out of frustration. Nyier Daniels slows down Bryce Young. – Charles Power

11:28 a.m. CT — East: Jeremiah Beaman hits Jimothy Lewis with a spin move. Amaris Williams beats Nyier Daniels to the edge. – Charles Power

11:27 a.m. CT — East: Josiah Thompson stones Clemson signee Hevin Brown-Shuler in 1-on-1s. – Charles Power

11:26 a.m. CT — East: LJ McCray beats Nyier Daniels with a swim move. William Echoles slows down Justin Greene of UGA. – Sam Spiegelman

11:26 a.m. CT — West: Notre Dame LB Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa making his presence felt early during the team period with two stops early. – Cody Bellaire

11:10 a.m. CT — East: Two wide receivers that caught my eye included Clemson signee TJ Moore. He’s a big, physical wide receiver — 6-foot-3, 200-ish pounds. But a very advanced route runner, great hands and body control during receiver workouts. Same goes for Kylan Billiot, signed with LSU, moving well and jumps out the gym. Very impressive here early at East. – Sam Spiegelman

11:09 a.m. CT — East: We’re about to get to some 1-on-1s. – Charles Power

10:58 a.m. CT — East: Notre Dame RB signee Kedren Young is built like a tank – around 5-foot-10.5, 220 pounds with a developed lower body. – Charles Power

10:54 a.m. CT — East: Five-star Clemson LB signee Sammy Brown is out for this week. – Charles Power

10:52 a.m. CT — East: LSU WR signee Kylan Billiot is a well-built, bouncy mover. Zion Ragins is the smallest player on the East, at around 5-foot-8, 145-150 pounds. He can fly but is having some trouble bringing in passes with the smaller catch radius. East is working on pass skel but having some issues with the snap. – Charles Power

10:44 a.m. CT — West: Tennessee OT Bennett Warren and Auburn QB Walker White might be two of the more physically impressive players on the offensive side of the ball for Team West. – Cody Bellaire

10:43 a.m. CT — East: Penn State TE signee Luke Reynolds is a massive eyecatcher since the summer when he was one of the top performers at the Elite 11 workout. He’s continued to put on weight and still moves very well in and out of his breaks and running routes like a jumbo wide receiver. He’s one of the top players catching my eye early at East practice on Tuesday. – Sam Spiegelman

10:39 a.m. CT — East: Really like how Clemson WR signee TJ Moore catches the ball in routes on air — all fingertips and with arms extended. – Charles Power

10:37 a.m. CT — East: Watching DB drills — Georgia Five-Star Plus+ safety signee KJ Bolden and four-star DB Zay Mincey pass the eye test seamlessly. They move in and out of their breaks, break on the ball and also move laterally. – Sam Spiegelman

10:35 a.m. CT — East: Five-Star Plus+ Ohio State WR signee Jeremiah Smith is certainly one of the more physically impressive players at the East practice. At 6-foot-3 and around 215 pounds, he’s exactly how you’d draw them up as an outside WR. – Charles Power

10:30 a.m. CT — East: Looking at the East OL: Five-star South Carolina signee Josiah Thompson has leaned out over the past year or so. He looks to be around 6-foot-6.5, 265 pounds. Will need to add mass before getting on the field but is a twitchy, light-footed mover. Georgia OT signee Nyier Daniels is huge – around 6-foot-8, 390 pounds. He’ll need to trim down a good bit, having added weight over the past year. Penn State IOL signee Cooper Cousins is a well-built 6-foot-6, 320 pounds. Wisconsin OT signee Kevin Heywood has put on some good weight and is among the tallest OL in what is a group full of trees. – Charles Power

10:28 a.m. CT — West: Offense and defense are going over install. Lots of standing around at Trinity University. – Mike Singer

10:19 a.m. CT — East: Here at East practice in the Alamodome. Players have filtered in and are going through positional warmups. Just on the hoof, Notre Dame EDGE signee Bryce Young is impressive. Looks to be a well-built 6-foot-6, 245 pounds. – Charles Power
