3-star RB Quinshon Judkins set to announce his commitment Wednesday
Less than week after narrowing his search to three schools, three-star Pike Road (Ala.) running back Quinshon Judkins announced Sunday he has decided on a commitment date.
Judkins tweeted that he will make his big announcement this Wednesday, Sept. 29, at 12 p.m. CT.
He is set to choose between Auburn, Notre Dame and Ole Miss.
Judkins has been visiting his top schools the past few weeks
Over the past three weekends, Quinshon Judkins has visited his top three schools.
On Sept. 11, Judkins was in Mississippi to watch Ole Miss beat Tulane. The next weekend, he was at Notre Dame to watch defeat Toledo.
After the visit to South Bend, Ind., Judkins released his top three last Monday.
And then this past weekend, Judkins was just up the highway from Pike Road in Auburn watching the Tigers scrape by against Georgia Southern.
Quinshon Judkins would become the only running back recruit in the Ole Miss class if he commits to coach Lane Kiffin and the Rebels. Both Notre Dame and Auburn have four-star running backs commits in their 2022 classes.
Quinshon Judkins is a productive runner
Judkins was hampered by an injury early in the season but has looked great in Pike Road’s last few games. The team did not play Friday due to a forfeit from its opponent.
On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power said Judkins is versatile running back.
“He has good vision in running between the tackles and is shows toughness and contact balance with his ability to run through contact at the second level,” Power said. “Judkins is a strong pass-catcher out of the backfield and should be a natural in passing situations and playing in a two-minute offense. His initial burst and long speed are adequate, but are areas where he can continue to improve.”
