4-star 7-1 center Leo Curtis, former Arizona State commit, chooses Nebraska

Leo Curtis, a four-star center in the 2025 class, has committed to Nebraska, his agent Johann Mpondo of Cosmo Sports Management told On3.
The 7-foot-1 senior out of CATS Academy (Boston, MA) originally committed to Arizona State in January but reopened his recruitment in April. At the time, he chose Bobby Hurley and the Sun Devils over Indiana and West Virginia, but also received offers from schools like Creighton, Stanford, Xavier, Alabama, UCF, and others.
This time around, Curtis chooses Fred Hoiberg and the ‘Huskers over Washington and Texas, according to his agent.

Curtis, a native of Iceland, is the No. 84 overall recruit in the 2025 cycle, according to On3’s Top-150 Player Rankings. He’s also the No. 11 center and the No. 1 player in Massachusetts.
Nebraska finished the 2024-25 season with an overall record of 21-14, finishing 12th in the Big Ten conference. The ‘Huskers missed the NCAA Tournament, but they won the Crown, a new postseason tournament for college basketball teams that don’t make March Madness.
Nebraska had strong wins this past season over Creighton, UCLA, Illinois, Oregon, and others.
