When you’re down to Georgia and Texas A&M like star defensive line recruit Bear Alexander, fans examine everything you do.

Alexander – the four-star defensive lineman from Fort Worth (Texas) Brewer – whipped A&M and UGA fans into a fury Sunday afternoon with a new video posted to Twitter. The video has fans breaking down every frame of the video. It’s like A&M and UGA fans are examining the latest Marvel trailer looking for hidden Easter Eggs.

What’s in video from Bear Alexander?

Bear Alexander, the No. 32 player in the On300 and No. 7 defensive lineman in the country, treated fans to a video of him working out with Mo3’s “Out of the Gym” blaring in the background. Throughout the video, he is in both Georgia and Texas A&M gear.

Immediately UGA and A&M fans began to dissect the film on social media and message boards searching for hidden meaning.

The first team shown? Surely, that means something some fans speculated.

It was Georgia. At the 7-second mark, Bear Alexander is in a red and black Georgia football T-shirt.

What about the last team shown? That means something, right?

It was A&M. Alexander is in a maroon and white T-shirt for the final time at the 49-second mark.

Wait, what about how many times each team was shown? That has to mean something some fans conjectured.

Unfortunately for folks trying to read something into that idea, he was seen an equal number of times wearing an A&M and UGA shirt.

No matter what, Bear Alexander – who was actually committed to UGA at one point – is a coveted recruit. Fans are going to hang on to every word, tweet, and video until he signs his letter of intent. This video is an example of the excitement the national-level recruit will generate as we head toward the start of the early signing period.

What makes Alexander top recruit?

On3 National Analyst Gerry Hamilton said Bear Alexander is worth all the hype.

“Alexander has a terrific frame for an interior defensive line prospect,” Hamilton said. “Big-bodied with high-end first-step quickness and reactive quickness at his size. Broad shoulders and a very strong lower body are accompanied by an 81-inch wingspan and 10-inch hands.

“Developed technically playing for a terrific Denton Ryan coaching staff as a junior. Initial pop jolts offensive linemen on the high school level. Regularly beats double-teams with quickness or a powerful bull rush. Can occupy two blockers, and still push the pocket.”
