Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview cornerback Jalyn Crawford is still early in the recruiting process as a rising junior. But the On3 four-star prospect has already drawn 17 offers and has interest from some of college football’s premier programs.

Two that stand out early to the Peach State prospect are Michigan and Michigan State, which he hopes to visit at the end of July.

“I have family in Michigan, in Saginaw,” Crawford told On3. “Everybody in my family likes Michigan State more than Michigan, but I feel like Michigan is where is at.”

The offers meant a great to deal to Crawford, largely because of the family ties.

“It was exciting knowing my family is up there, and they would want me to come play for either one of those teams,” he said.

Georgia, Alabama also showing interest in Jalyn Crawford

The No. 193 prospect in the On3 Consensus has also drawn a lot of attention in SEC country. He camped at both Alabama and Georgia. And though offers haven’t come yet, those two names very much stick out in his mind.

“It would be amazing and exciting,” he said of his reaction if the Bulldogs offer. “Knowing I’m on their board, they’re looking at me and to be one of them. I love the atmosphere and the culture there. The defensive backs coach, he gets really in detail with how he coaches.”

Crawford also communicates with Crimson Tide DBs coach Travaris Robinson who he says, “shows a lot of love and talks to me often.”

The school standing out early on for him, though is LSU. The Tigers were one of his favorite schools as a kid, and he has been on campus twice thus far.

“It’s just a great atmosphere,” Jalyn Crawford said. “When I went down there, they were showing so much love. They had a crawfish boil for me and my family, it was amazing. How they’ve treated and what I am on their board means a lot to me.”
