4-star RB Dylan Edwards sets his commitment date

After committing to Kansas State late in June, Dylan Edwards recently backed off his commitment to the Wildcats.

The No. 291 prospect in the On3 Consensus is a four-star running back out of Derby (Kan.) was a Top Performer for On3 at the Future 50. His stock has been on the rise since, and Notre Dame offered right before Edwards re-opened his recruitment.

The 5-foot-8, 155-pound playmaker visited South Bend for the first time over the weekend. Other schools have reached out since he de-committed as well.

Edwards does not plan on waiting long to place his name on another commitment list.

“I am committing on August 6,” Edwards told On3. “I want to focus on my senior year and not be too worried about recruiting, so I will be making my decision soon.”
