Yves Missi, a five-star prospect in the 2024 class according to On3, is nearing a college decision. The 6-foot-11, 225-pound center originally from Cameroon says he is aiming for a commitment in the month of December or January. While he hasn’t officially narrowed down his list of schools yet, Missi has visited Baylor and Stanford and will visit Texas the weekend of December 10th.

Missi ranks as the 13th overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Consensus — the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies. On3’s evaluators are even higher on him, ranking him 6th overall in the class.

The big man previews is upcoming trip to Austin, as well as previous trips to Stanford and Baylor.

Texas: “I’m looking forward to building a better relationship with coach (Chris) Beard and also coach (Brandon) Chappell. Also, I’m excited to see the style of play of Texas.”

Stanford: “Education is really important, especially for my parents. I went on an unofficial visit to Stanford. I was only there for a day but they showed us a practice and I got to see the campus and it was really good.”

Baylor: “Baylor is really like a family. I spent two days there and I actually felt like it was home. I love the city and also coach (Scott) Drew. I have a good relationship with them too.”
