ACC Championship odds: Opening point spread released for Duke vs. Virginia, How to Watch

Danby: Daniel Hager11/30/25DanielHagerOn3

No. 18 Virginia and Duke are set to clash in the ACC Championship Game, with the game taking place at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC. Both programs will be playing in the title game for the second time in their respective histories. Virginia was boatraced by Clemson 62-17 in 2019, and Duke was blown out by Jameis Winston and Florida State 45-7 in 2013.

A win for Tony Elliott‘s Virginia program would give them their first ever College Football Playoff appearance, while Duke could very well lose the ACC’s auto-bid with a victory. A higher-ranked GO5 program, including possibly North Texas (11-1), Tulane (10-2), or James Madison (11-1), could steal the fifth conference champion auto-bid if ranked higher than the Blue Devils.

The two programs met earlier this season on Nov. 15, with Virginia coming out on top 34-17 in Durham. Cavalier quarterback Chandler Morris shredded the Blue Devil defense, passing for 316 yards and two touchdowns. Running back J’Mari Taylor also enjoyed one of his best games of the season, rushing for 133 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries.

Ahead of the matchup, the early point spread and more have been revealed. All odds are courtesy of BetMGM. Virginia has opened as a 2.5-point favorite over Duke. The over/under is set at 57.5 points.
