Hannibal (Mo.) four-star athlete Aneyas Williams is ready to make his college commitment and will do so on Friday, Dec. 16.

The 5-foot-10, 195-pounder will choose from a list that includes: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Penn State and Tennessee.

Williams is the No. 239 overall prospect and No. 21 athlete in the 2024 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 6 player in Missouri.

The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) heavily favors Notre Dame to land him, giving the Irish a 94.2 percent chance of securing his commitment.

Williams breaks down his top 10 schools

Last month, Williams named his top schools and broke down each with On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons.

Alabama: “Bama speaks for themselves. Obviously, a winning culture. If you want to go there and get the job done and win a natty, there you go.”

Florida: “Another one of those schools that’s balling out again and then, they run a good offense and they got some good classes coming in, recruit-wise. I know they’re ranked pretty highly for ’23 and ’24.”

Georgia: “You can never count them out. They’re having a great year this year, doing what they do best.”

Kentucky: “Another school with a really good offense that I would fit in. Just the way they use the running back and obviously, their running back is having a good year. Their OC is really into me.”

Missouri: “Mizzou’s obviously just home. It’s an hour away. I have my close fanbase and just doing a good job. I love their offense.”

Notre Dame: “Notre Dame, you just get the best of both worlds. You get that good education that’ll put you further in life and then football, Notre Dame’s always gonna be up there, no matter what.”

Ohio State: “Just another team that you can always never count out. Definitely another school like Bama, very serious, straight-to-business school, which obviously I’m a winner, so I don’t mind that.”

Ole Miss: “One of those schools that’s also on the come up. This has been a big year for a bunch of schools and they’re definitely one of them that’s coming up. They’re outside the box for me, but I have a good relationship with coach (MarquelBlackwell, the running backs coach. Just didn’t want to leave them out.”

Penn State: “RBU. They produce some guys and their o-line is always known for being good. That interests me. They could definitely be a contender soon.”

Tennessee: “They’re on the come up, for sure. As you can see this year, coach Heupel is doing a great job with their offense. It definitely wouldn’t be bad in that offense.”
