On Monday, the Big 12 announced kickoff times and TV designations for Week 6 of college football. Oklahoma and Texas start things off at 11 a.m. CT in the Cotton Bowl on ABC.

Other televised games include West Virginia at Baylor at 11 a.m. CT on FS1, as well as TCU at Texas Tech at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN.

The Sooners and Longhorns meet for the 117th time in the classic Red River Rivalry game at the Texas State Fair. Oklahoma has won five of the past six games including a thrilling four-overtime victory in last year’s contest.

OU quarterback Spencer Rattler is trying to shake off doubters following a 16-13 win against West Virginia in Week 4. The Heisman hopeful finished 26-of-36 for 256 yards, one touchdown and one interception. An interception late in the second quarter prompted the Sooners crowd to chant for Rattler to be replaced.

“I don’t worry about that at all,” Rattler told ESPN’s Holly Rowe when asked about hearing the crowd booing at home. “I don’t listen to it. They’re not on the field.”

The quarterback also has the support of coach Lincoln Riley.

“You know you evaluate the whole game and thought there were a couple of things he missed, but I thought several things we didn’t play good around him,” Riley said. “I was proud of him. I thought he hung in there and trusted it the whole way, gave us a chance right there at the end. He’s going to get better. He’s going to get coached better.”

After nearly knocking off the Sooners, West Virginia takes on a Baylor team currently sitting atop the conference. The Bears earned an upset victory against Iowa State this past week after beating Kansas in Week 3. They entered the AP poll this week at No. 21.

The night time game in the Big 12 has TV designation of ESPN. Both TCU and Texas Tech are coming off of losses this past week and will be hungry to get back on the right track. The Horned Frogs open Big 12 play in Week 5 with a matchup against Texas.
