Brian Robinson has had a long seven months. After getting drafted in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft back in the spring, he was involved in an incident where he was shot back in August. While he’s been working his way back to the field, Robinson said one thing has pushed him to get through this emotional roller coaster during this point of his life.

Robinson spoke on what he described as the ‘lowest point of (his) life’ during media on Wednesday. He said the love and support he felt while in the hospital is what helped him survive that adversity.

“I just remember being in probably one of the lowest points in my life. That was probably the lowest point I’ve ever been in my life,” said Robinson. “The only thing I remember from the hospital was just receiving all the love and everybody reaching out to me. Just spreading the love.”

After missing precious weeks of preparation while rehabbing, Washington finally cleared Robinson to return to the field this week. It’s been a long road back but he is very grateful for the support from everyone during his darkest hour.

“That was all I needed at the time. People probably didn’t know that was all I needed at the time was the love and the care and the respect from just the situation I was in. I don’t think the crowd knows how much that meant to me,” Robinson said. “That’s the biggest thing I remember. Just everybody reaching out to me, showing love, and just praying for me.”

Brian Robinson still has a few steps to take before he’s able to make his NFL debut. Still, his return is guaranteed to be an emotional one after everything that’s transpired for him in the last two months.
