Cleveland (Ohio) Sierra Canyon combo guard Bronny James is one of the top high school basketball in the country. According to a report from Paul Biancardi, there are multiple suitors for his services.

They include Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, UCLA, USC and others, per Biancardi. The 6-foot-3, 190 pound prospect will soon take part in three games in Europe with The California Basketball Club.

“Although it’s still relatively early in the recruiting process, there is a strong feeling he will take the college route as opposed to the G League Ignite or other developmental leagues,” Biancardi wrote. “He is being pursued by the likes of UCLA, USC, Michigan, Ohio State and Oregon, among others.”

James, the son of NBA star LeBron James, is the No. 43 overall prospect and No. 9 combo guard in the 2023 On3 Consensus. He is also the No. 12 player in California.

On3 rates James even higher. He is the No. 38 overall player, No. 7 combo guard and No. 10 player in California.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, it is currently a close race between North Carolina A&T and North Carolina Central to land James’ commitment. North Carolina A&T’s odds are at 53.3%, while North Carolina Central’s chance is at 46.7%.

The RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

James has an On3 NIL Valuation of $6.4M. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
