The Buffalo Bills are not letting up in their drubbing of the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Rookie running back James Cook found the endzone for the first time in his naissant NFL career, adding another six points to the Bills’ lopsided Week 5 game.

Josh Allen threw one completion to get his team to the Pittsburgh 24-yard line. From there, former Georgia running back James Cook took the handoff from Allen and found a wide-open hole on the right side of his offensive line. He dodged one tackle at his ankles and scampered into the endzone to put the Bills up 38-3.

On the day so far, Cook has four carries for 31 yards, most of which came on his touchdown run. Coming into the Week 5 matchup, the former Bulldog had 58 yards on 13 rushing attempts, along with four receptions for 37 yards.

The Buffalo Bills selected Cook with the 63rd overall pick in the second round. He is coming off a top season with the Bulldogs after rushing for 728 yards and seven touchdowns on 113 carries. So far in 2022, Cook has been a rotational piece for Buffalo. Running back Devin Singletary leads the position in rushing yards this season with 129 yards on 34 carries.

Prior to Josh Allen taking the bench for the afternoon, he threw for 424 yards, four touchdowns and one interception. He also added 42 rushing yards.

Although there are still several minutes remaining in the game, the Bills look poised to move to 4-1 as the Steelers fall to 1-4.
