Buffalo is expected to hire DJ Mangas as its offensive coordinator, sources tell On3.

Mangas, a former offensive coordinator at William & Mary, was an analyst at UCF this season after serving as pass game coordinator at LSU (2021) and as a coaching assistant with the Carolina Panthers (2020).

Mangas was also part of LSU’s national championship staff in 2019, working as an analyst and serving as a right-hand man for pass game coordinator Joe Brady as Joe Burrow set an FBS record with 60 touchdown passes.

Buffalo just finished up its second season with Maurice Linguist as its head coach, improving to 7-6 after finishing 4-8 in 2021.
