On the week of the NFL Draft, the upcoming NBA Draft cannot be forgotten either. After the early entry deadline came and went, CBS Sports insider Gary Parrish released his first 2022 mock draft with a glimpse at how the first round could shape up as the field fills out.

As the NBA Playoffs continue and the NBA draft lottery approaching, the pick order remains in the default regular season order until more changes shape the final version of the mock draft.

The four players in the running to go No. 1 overall include Duke’s Paolo Banchero, Gonzaga’s Chet Holmgren, Purdue’s Jaden Ivey and Auburn’s Jabari Smith. Others creating interesting storylines are the G-League Ignite star Jaden Hardy and Kentucky freshman Shaedon Sharpe, who did not play collegiately.
