Week 1 of the college football season is on the horizon, and Vegas Insider has the betting world covered with point spreads for every game.

First, the action all begins on Thursday night, where Penn State travels to take on Purdue, along with West Virginia taking on the defending ACC champions in Pittsburgh. Then, Friday continues with some exciting matchups, including Western Michigan taking on 2022’s surprise team in the Michigan State Spartans.

Then, one one of the most anticipated games of the season will start the year off, with Notre Dame traveling to Columbus to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes. As the Marcus Freeman era begins for the Fighting Irish, he’s leading his team into battle where he used to suit up. It’s a story that you usually only see in the movie theaters.

However, Freeman isn’t the only one returning home next Saturday — Dan Lanning, who made his name as the defensive coordinator at Georgia — is now leading the Oregon Ducks as a head coach for the first time in his career. Coincidentally, he’ll be leading them against Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs on Saturday, a game that’ll be plenty emotional as Georgia begins their hunt for back-to-back titles.

As you can see, Week 1 of the college football season is shaping up to be memorable as always, with plenty of phenomenal showdowns on the docket. Here’s how Vegas Insider believes the matchups are shaping up.
