We’re still about three weeks from Halloween, but the holiday season has arrived for football fans.

Don’t believe us? Well, beginning with tonight’s LouisianaMarshall Sun Belt Conference showdown, there is live college or pro football for all but three days between now and November 23 (that’s the Wednesday before Thanksgiving).

Yes, for 37 of the next 40 days, there is live football on your TV (or favorite streaming device, if that’s your preferred method of watching). The only days without football between now and November 23: October 18 (a Tuesday), October 25 (a Tuesday) and October 26 (a Wednesday). Every other day – all 37 of them – have live football.

That includes Tuesday and Wednesday games in the first three weeks of November. Indeed, between October 27 and November 22, there is football every day. Every. Single. Day.

Some of the Tuesday and Wednesday games look interesting, too. There are single Sun Belt games tonight and next Wednesday. Two MAC games will be shown Tuesday, November 1, and two more on Wednesday, November 2. There are three MAC games on Tuesday, November 8, and three more on Wednesday, November 9. There are two MAC games on Tuesday, November 15, and three more on Wednesday, November 16. Then there are two more MAC games on Tuesday, November 22; then there is a one-day respite before the bacchanal that is Thanksgiving weekend football.

But, hey, does it matter who’s playing? It’s live football.

Celebrate as you see fit.
