College Football TV Ratings: Top 10 most-watched games of Week 11

Some thrilling finishes led to another strong week of TV ratings in Week 11 of college football. ABC led the way with its primetime game, but both FOX and CBS had strong days as their Big Ten games went down to the wire.
Week 11 also marked the second Saturday of the ESPN blackout on YouTube TV. The service’s roughly 10 million subscribers did not have access to Disney networks – including ESPN, ABC, ACC Network and SEC Network – as the carriage dispute continued.

On3 obtained Nielsen Big Data + Panel ratings data for the Top 10 most-watched games of Week 11. Here is the full breakdown of the week’s college football TV ratings.
Note: SEC Network, ACC Network and CBS Sports Network do not pay for Nielsen to measure viewership.

BYU at Texas Tech

The matchup between BYU and Texas Tech drew plenty of fanfare, but it was all Red Raiders. They made quite a statement in the resounding victory over the Cougars, which kicked off ABC’s Saturday tripleheader.

Northwestern at USC
Date/Time: Nov. 7, 9 p.m. ET
Channel: FOX
Viewers: 1.9 million
Once again, FOX got a TV ratings win for its Friday night game. USC’s win over Northwestern came in as one of the Top 10 most-watched games of Week 11 as the Trojans pulled away to take down the Wildcats at the Coliseum.
There are just a few more weeks left in the 2025 college football season, and TV ratings are still strong heading into the final stretch. That bodes well for a strong finish as conference championships and the College Football Playoff arrive, as well.
