ESPN’s College GameDay gave the people what they wanted this weekend, traveling to Nippert Stadium in Cincinnati for an AAC meeting between Tulsa and the disrespected Bearcats. The energy was off the charts, as Cincinnati faithful let the world hear their anger with being left out of the top four in the first College Football Playoff rankings.

With a raucous crowd on-hand prior to a matchup Cincinnati’s College Football Playoff chances hanging in the balance, the College GameDay crew made their selections for Saturday’s games. Additionally, the singer/song-writer Nick Lachey joined the fun as the guest picker.

Lachey’s claim to fame came from being a member of the boy band “98 Degrees,” which has sold more the 10 million records to date. Additionally, he’s the ex-husband of Jessica Simpson, and known as a die-hard fan of most of the Cincinnati sports teams.

As Lachey brought his passion for the Bearcats to the set, big game energy was palpable, and the excitement of a fun match-up was unmistakable. With the anticipation reaching its zenith, Desmond Howard, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit made their picks for another exciting Saturday slate.

All of GameDay’s Week 10 picks:

Tulsa at Cincinnati: “I’m going Bearcats. I love the Bearcats — I like Luke Fickell, what he brings to the table,” stated Howard. Herbstreit and Lachey echoed his statements, both picking Cincinnati to get the victory.

“Bearcats are rated No. 2 in the AP Poll .. this is the largest and most enthusiastic crowd we’ve ever had right here. Today, the Bearcats prove that they belong! That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it — Bearcats!” exclaimed Corso, as he grabbed the Cincinnati mascot head.

Everyone is on Cincinnati to remain undefeated today.

Oregon at Washington: “I picked against the Ducks one time. No more. Ducks, close win,” stated Corso. The Ducks have their skeptics, but not on the set of College GameDay — everyone is picking Oregon.

Auburn at Texas A&M: “I got Auburn to out-right win. Auburn’s my super-dog .. let’s go Bo Nix, I need you,” stated Howard. They may be underdogs, but Lachey is the only one picking against the Tigers.

LSU at Alabama: “I love Coach O .. I think they want to play well for him .. Alabama’s just got too much,” said Lachey. Everyone is on Alabama to get the victory.

Tennessee at Kentucky: “I’m going Rocky Top .. I was impressed with the way they played Alabama for three quarters,” said Howard. Only Herbstreit believes Kentucky rights the ship today.

Liberty at Ole Miss: “Two reasons — Malik Willis is the real deal .. Hugh Freeze is going back home,” said Herbstreit. However, Herbstreit is alone in his sentiment — everyone else is on Ole Miss.

Wake Forest at North Carolina: “Not so fast my friend,” said Corso, after Lachey picked Wake Forest. However, Herbstreit and Howard agree with Lachey — Corso is the only one picking the upset.

Clemson at Louisville: “I think that defense travels. I got Clemson over Louisville in a close game,” stated Howard. The defense of Clemson is making a believer of Howard, Herbstreit and Corso. However, Lachey is picking Louisville.

Michigan State at Purdue: “These guys are falling victim to this narrative that is so obvious,” Herbstreit responded, after watching Lachey and Corso pick Purdue. Howard agrees with him, and they’re picking against a Michigan State upset.

Oklahoma State at West Virginia: “I think Oklahoma State has enough fire-power, and they get it done today,” stated Lachey. Everyone is on the Cowboys.

Baylor at TCU: “I think that Dave Aranda is going to have his group ready for this game. They know what’s ahead,” stated Howard. Everyone is on Baylor.

Texas at Iowa State: “Two of the best backs you’re going to see in this conference going head to head,” stated Herbstreit. Howard, Lachey and Herbstreit are rolling with Breece Hall, while Corso is with Bijan Robinson.
