College GameDay in Charlotte

College GameDay will be in Charlotte on Saturday for the Georgia-Clemson game. The game is expected to be one of the best games of the 2021 college football season. Both teams are absolutely loaded with NFL talent as the game features the third-ranked Clemson Tigers and the fifth ranked Georgia Bulldogs. Many people like ESPN’s Rece Davis look forward to getting questions answered about Georgia quarterback J.T. Daniels in this one. Georgia and Clemson are set to square off on Saturday, Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m. EST. The game will be nationally televised on ABC.

Other matchups on Saturday

Alabama takes on Miami at 3:30 EST on ABC. The Alabama defense in 2021 is expected to be really talented, according to many analysts like ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit.

The 2021 version of the Alabama defense is expected to be historically good, per ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit. “But if you’re not familiar with Alabama, in 2021 they’re going to be back to being a dominant defense.”

Alabama’s linebackers are expected to be the best they’ve ever had under Nick Saban, according to SEC Network’s Gene Chizik.

“Well, let me tell you what, Nick Saban may have the best group of linebackers he’s ever had” Chizik said. “It is saying something. But when you sit there and look at Will Anderson, Jr. This guy’s been a blur since his freshman year. He’s relentless on rushing the quarterback. He’s relentless on tracking down the football. What about Christian Harris in the middle of the defense?! Third-year starter, right?! He goes side to side. He’s physical. He’s fast. He can blitz the quarterback. Now I haven’t even mentioned that he got a transfer by the name of Henry To’o To’o.”

The Miami Hurricanes and the Alabama Crimson Tide are set to clash in the Chick Fil-A Classic, too. Kickoff time is set for 3:30 p.m. EST and will air on ABC.
