Derby (Kan.) four-star running back Dylan Edwards defeated Washington (D.C.) Archbishop Carroll five-star athlete Nyckoles Harbor in the final of the Under Armour All-American Game fastest man competition.

The Colorado commit finished with a reported time of 4.41 seconds, while Harbor clocked in at a reported 4.42.

Edwards is the No. 169 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Harbor is the No. 18 prospect and the No. 1 athlete in the country. He is the unanimous top athlete in the country, and turned heads on Friday.

“Nyckoles Harbor‘s combination of size and track speed is well-known at this point. It should not come as a surprise that Harbor looked like a freakish jumbo athlete on Friday night,” Charles Power said.

Dylan Edwards Scouting Summary

Diminutive playmaker with game-breaking potential. A threat to score anytime he gets the ball in space. Has a smaller build for a running back prospect, checking in at a shade over 5-foot-8, 155 pounds the off-season prior to his senior year. A dominant runner and playmaker at the prep level, rushing for 2,603 yards, and 38 touchdowns while averaging a gaudy 12.5 yards per carry as a junior. Regularly rips off long runs, flashing outstanding burst to go with the speed to pull away once in the open field. Validated his play speed by winning the Fastest Man competition at Under Armour Future 50. Uses his lateral agility to make defenders miss tackles in confined spaces. Also shows good field vision, often cutting back across the field. Makes plays in a variety of ways – as a traditional running back, on end arounds, as a receiver out of the backfield or split out wide. Also dangerous as a kick and punt returner. Does not play top competition in Kansas and is almost always the top athlete on the field. Will need to continue adding mass to sustain a sizable workload at the college level. Can also continue improving his ball skills.
