Jaden Rashada will be making a trip down the Pacific Coast this weekend as the consensus four-star quarterback out of Pittsburg (Calif) High will be visiting UCLA this weekend.

Rashada is one of the top quarterbacks in the class of 2023, and has been traveling across the country the past few weeks.

He was at Penn State for the White Out game and was in Eugene this past weekend for Oregon‘s victory over Arizona.

The Bruins currently do not have a quarterback committed in the 2022 recruiting cycle.

Jaden Rashada’s Oregon visit led to an offer

Rashada had not been offered by Oregon before arriving in Eugene. But that changed very quickly.

The Ducks offered Rashada on Saturday, which was his 20th total offer.

Jaden Rashada has a great friend in the Oregon program in Ducks backup quarterback Jay Butterfield. The two played together during Rashada’s freshman year at Brentwood (Calif.) Liberty.

The week before, he was in Happy Valley at the White Out game against Auburn. He was one of many high-profile 2023 recruits in attendance at the game, including Washington (D.C.) Archbishop Carroll EDGE Nyckoles Harbor.

The game was a thriller and will no doubt have a major impact on the prospects who were in State College, Pa.

Where does Rashada rank in a stacked 2023 QB class?

The 2023 quarterback class is stacking up to be one of the best in a few years.

On3 already has three quarterbacks ranked as five-star talents: New Orleans Isidore Newman’s Arch Manning, Los Alamitos (Calif.) High’s Malachi Nelson and Downey (Calif.) Warren’s Nicholaus Iamaleava.

Manning and Nelson — an Oklahoma commit — slot in at No. 1 and No. 2 respectively.

Jaden Rashada is in the mix for that next level of quarterback talent.

On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power said Rashada is still very inexperience after having a shortened sophomore season. But Rashada has a ton of potential.

“Jaden Rashada is a natural thrower — he’s a strong-armed quarterback with the ability to drive the ball downfield without strain,” Power said. “Rashada shows the ability to make high-level throws. We see him hit hole shots against cover two and hit small windows down the middle of the field…Moving forward, we’d like to see him improve the accuracy and efficiency on a throw-to-throw basis.”
