Curtis Givens, a four-star point guard in the class of 2024, has narrowed down his list of schools. Moving forward, Givens will consider seven schools: Georgia Tech, Indiana, LSU, Memphis, Texas, UConn, and Villanova.

The 6-foot-3, 180-pound junior out of Montverde (Fla.) Academy has not yet taken any official visits.

Along with his seven finalists, Givens also received offers from Florida State, Syracuse, Xavier, Wake Forest, Texas A&M, Missouri, Mississippi State, and others.

According to the On3 Industry Rankings, Givens ranks as the No. 70 overall prospect in the 2024 class. He’s also the nation’s No. 12 point guard and the No. 10 player in the state of Florida. Expect Givens’ On3 ranking to rise in the next update.

Givens discusses each of his final seven schools and his two scheduled official visits in an exclusive interview here (On3+).

Givens discusses his game, what he’s looking for in a school

In a previous interview with On3, Curtis Givens broke down his game and said what he’s looking for in a future program.

“I let the game come to me,” Givens told On3. “I am a poised player who tries to get my teammates involved and take what the defense gives me. Playing with all this talent at Montverde has helped me see the game and distribute it better. I’ve always been able to score, but here I’m, becoming a point guard. Coach Kevin Boyle wants me to model my game after Andrew Nembhard, so I watch a lot of him.”

Givens also knows what he’s looking for in a college.

“The atmosphere is going to be big for me,” Givens said. “The culture of the school will be what I’m looking at on these visits. When I’m looking at a college, I’m looking for a place that will give their guards some freedom to make plays.”

Givens Scouting Report

“Curtis Givens is a skilled and confident lead guard. He has smooth three-point range that extends well beyond the arc. While he will need to continue developing his explosion, he can get to his spots, off the bounce, in the half-court, and has good floor vision. Givens is a modern type guard who can score and facilitate. He should track among the top in his class.” – On3’s Jamie Shaw
