The Dallas Cowboys have thrived despite injury concerns all season.

On Friday, the final injury report was released and while Dallas will be missing to key players, the trio of stars that were questionable all week have the green light vs. the Giants on Sunday.

The Dallas Cowboys have been plagued with injuries already this season, but on Friday, head coach Mike McCarthy offered a positive update on some of the previously questionable players for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants.

Defensive end Randy Gregory, running back Ezekiel Elliott and wide receiver Amari Cooper all practiced on Thursday and are expected to play this weekend.

“I don’t foresee them having any challenges,” McCarthy said, per Jon Machota of The Athletic.

Both Elliott and Cooper missed practice on Wednesday, Elliott with a knee injury and Cooper with a hamstring issue.

Elliott had 20 carries for 143 rushing yards and a touchdown last week against Carolina, putting together his best performance of the year and averaging 7.2 yards per carry. The showing was enough for him to win a weekly award from the NFL, as he took home FedEx Ground Player of the Week honors.

Elliott has 342 rushing yards on the season, the fourth-most in the NFL, and is averaging 5.3 yards per carry. Elliott’s back up Tony Pollard will get more reps should something limit Elliott on Sunday.

Cooper is one of Dallas’ top scoring receivers, tied with tight end Dalton Schultz for a team-leading three receiving touchdowns.

The Cowboys offense is once again humming behind quarterback Dak Prescott. Dallas has the fourth best scoring offense in the nation through four games.

Like Elliott, Gregory is also dealing with a lingering knee problem, which McCarthy said last week is “something he’s had in the past.” He played against Carolina and had three tackles and two sacks.

Dallas could use the elite pass rusher like Gregory against a Giants offense that is heating up. New York quarterback Daniel Jones threw for 402 yards, a career high, last week against the Saints, and running back Saquon Barkley had 52 yards on the ground plus 74 yards through the air and two total touchdowns.

The Giants scored on their final two possessions of regulation on Sunday to force overtime, and a touchdown to start overtime sealed the 27-21 win in New Orleans.

Dallas is a 7-point favorite at home. The game is America’s Game of the Week on Fox, airing at 3:25 p.m. CT.
