DK Metcalf carted off field for trip to the restroom
Following reports from the field on Sunday of Seahawks star receiver DK Metcalf exiting the field via cart, the Seattle team had to clear the air. The FOX game broadcast revealed that Metcalf was not injured, as many feared, he simply had to use the restroom.
Versus the Detroit Lions, Metcalf has a whopping 149 receiving yards on seven catches. Going into the Week 4 matchup, he had a total of just 135 yards and one score on 16 receptions.

The confusion led to some hilarious reactions from across the NFL.
Former Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III initially tweeted: “DK Metcalf just got carted off the field. Man this game is brutal. Prayers sent up.” After finding out the Metcalf just needed a ride to the loo, he followed up with, “Apparently, he had to duty and couldn’t take another step without (poop emoji) in his pants.”
Although the score was close at the time of Metcalf’s quick trip to the bathroom on the cart, the Seahawks separated to 48-38 with two minutes to play. If they hold on, Seattle will be 2-2 on the year as the Lions fall to 1-3.
