Elite 2026 RB Savion Hiter narrows list to five schools
Mineral (Va.) Woodberry Forest running back Savion Hiter, Virginia’s top prospect in the 2026 class, is down to five schools he told On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Thursday.
Hiter will eventually choose between Tennessee, Michigan, Georgia, Penn State and Ohio State.

Hiter told On3’s Chad Simmons last month that Tennessee and Georgia had month made a strong impression early on.

“I have a great bond with the coaches [at Tennessee],” Hiter said. “Coach De’Rail Sims came in and he built a great bond with me.”
He added that he has a “great bond” with Georgia running backs coach Josh Crawford.
Hiter visited Michigan for the Wolverines’ end-of-July recruiting event.
“It was fun,” Hiter told On3. “I got to connect with Coach Tony (Alford) and the rest of the staff. I got to meet with Coach (Sherrone) Moore. It was good to see them again. I got to hang out with other recruits like Brady Hart and Jasper Parker. Jasper showed me around and stuff. It was a great visit.”
