The regular season has come and gone in <a href="https://www.on3.com/category/college-football-playoff/news/">college football</a>, with conference championships to be played next weekend before the selection of the CFP on December 7th. On December 6th, though, ESPN’s College GameDay has a title game to attend.



College GameDay <a href="https://x.com/CollegeGameDay/status/1995138284859642113">has announced</a> that they’ll be on site for the SEC Championship between Alabama and Georgia.



This is <a href="https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/page/gamedaykickoff2025/college-gameday-2025-schedule-locations-recaps">the fifteenth stop of the season</a> for College GameDay. Their regular season stops include <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/ohio-state-buckeyes/">Ohio State</a> (Columbus), <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/oklahoma-sooners/">Oklahoma</a> (Norman), <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/tennessee-volunteers/">Tennessee</a> (Knoxville), <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/miami-hurricanes/">Miami</a> (Miami), <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/penn-state-nittany-lions/">Penn State</a> (University Park), <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/alabama-crimson-tide/">Alabama</a> (Tuscaloosa), <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/oregon-ducks/">Oregon</a> twice (Eugene) in Weeks 7 and 13, <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/georgia-bulldogs/">Georgia</a> (Athens), <a href="https://www.on3.com/sites/the-dore-report/">Vanderbilt</a> (Nashville), <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/utah-utes/">Utah</a> (Salt Lake City), <a href="https://www.on3.com/sites/red-raider-sports/">Texas Tech</a> (Lubbock), <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/pittsburgh-panthers/">Pittsburgh</a> (Pittsburgh), and, this past weekend, <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/michigan-wolverines/">Michigan</a> (Ann Arbor). 



That’s five stops apiece in the SEC and the Big Ten as well as two stops apiece in the Big 12 and in the ACC, with them seeing 18 teams who are <a href="https://www.on3.com/news/college-football-playoff-top-25-fourth-official-2025-cfp-rankings-revealed/">currently in the CFP Top-25</a>, including 10 who would <a href="https://www.on3.com/news/college-football-playoff-fourth-official-2025-projected-12-team-cfp-bracket/">currently be projected to be in the CFP</a>. Going into Week 14 in the Big House, College GameDay was also 9-4 in the city where they were in attendance for so far in 2025.



This will now be the first of the stops this postseason for College GameDay. They’ll do this stop for the conference title games, while they traveled last year for several rounds, including a pair of first-round games at home field sites to start out, of the College Football Playoff.
