As we’ve seen already this college football season, excelling on the field can quickly lead to increases in a player’s On3 NIL Valuation. But the same is true for women’s stars in volleyball, soccer, basketball, track and field and other sports.

Here’s a look at five players that shot up the charts in the On3 Women’s NIL 100. The On3 Women’s NIL 100 is the first of its kind and the defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by their market valuation.

Deja Kelly – North Carolina

Position: Guard
On3 NIL Valuation: $194,000
On3 Women’s NIL 100 ranking: 15
Per Post Value: $2,700

North Carolina guard Deja Kelly has had an excellent start to the 2022-2023 season, and that’s helped her move all the way up to the No. 15 spot in the On3 Women’s NIL 100. She also now has an On3 NIL Valuation of $194,000.

Not only was Kelly named the most valuable player for the Phil Knight Invitational, she also capped off a strong week by earning the ACC Player of the Week honors. Kelly averaged 23 points, six rebounds and 5.5 assists per game as UNC beat No. 18 Oregon and No. 5 Iowa State to win the PKI championship. For the season she’s averaging a team-high 17.8 points, fifth in the ACC. She leads the league in assist-turnover ratio (3.67) and ranks sixth in assists (4.4 per game).

Away from basketball, Kelly has amassed a huge following on social media, which has helped build her NIL brand. Kelly has more than 600,000 followers, including nearly 408,00 on TikTok alone. Her videos on TikTok have generated more than 8.4 million likes. So, it’s no surprise she’s racked up a long list of NIL deals, including from companies like Essentia Water, Actively Black and KINLÒ.

Azzi Fudd – UConn

Position: Guard
On3 NIL Valuation: $185,000
On3 Women’s NIL 100 ranking: 17
Per Post Value: $2,600

Azzi Fudd arrived at UConn for the 2021-2022 season as the No. 1 recruit in the country coming out of St. John’s College High School in Washington, D.C. During her time at St. John’s, she was the Gatorade Washington D.C. Player of the Year three times and the first sophomore ever to win Gatorade National Player of the Year recognition.

In her freshman season, Fudd was third on the team at UConn averaging 12.1 points. She was also named to the NCAA Tournament Bridgeport All-Region Team and was a first-team All-Big East pick. In five games this season, Fudd averages 25.6 points, three assists and two steals.

Along with her success on the court, Fudd has built one of the strongest NIL brands in women’s sports, and that’s why she continues to climb in the On3 Women’s NIL 100 and her On3 NIL Valuation is now at $185,00.

She’s built a partnership with Curry Brand and has starred in commercials for American Eagle Outfitters, TikTok, BioSteel and Chipotle. Heck, in the last two weeks, she’s struck deals with Nerf and MoneyLion.

Maricarmen Reyes – UCLA

Position: Midfielder
On3 NIL Valuation: $36,000
On3 Women’s NIL 100 ranking: 63
Per Post Value: $482

UCLA midfielder Maricarmen Reyes climbs into the On3 Women’s NIL 100 sparked by the Bruins’ run to the Women’s College Cup – the Final Four of college soccer.

Reyes played 973 minutes for UCLA, and she has four goals and two game-winning scores this season. Reyes also helped Mexico’s National Team qualify for the 2022 Concacaf Championship, scoring three goals during qualifying. She was also called up to Mexico’s National Team for a pair of friendlies in Japan in June 2021.

Reyes has a large social media presence with more than 32,000 followers and has already struck major NIL deals with adidas, Wells Fargo and others. She also founded her own company, Queens Pro, that’s focused on empowering Latina women. Those are all reasons why she has an On3 NIL Valuation of $36,000.

Lauren Brzykcy – UCLA

Position: Goalkeeper
On3 NIL Valuation: $29,000
On3 Women’s NIL 100 ranking: 83
Per Post Value: $469

Lauren Brzykcy has created the perfect combination of success on the field at UCLA and success on social media to build a great NIL brand.

Her On3 NIL Valuation has climbed over the past few weeks to $29,000, which slots her as the No. 2 player in the On3 Women’s College Soccer NIL Rank.

Brzykcy leads UCLA in minutes played this season, and she’s started every single match at keeper for the Final Four-bound Bruins. Her 84% save percentage is one of the best in the country.

Away from the pitch, Brzykcy has a massive social media presence with more than 104,500 followers on TikTok alone. She’s used her accomplishments on the field and on social to execute NIL deals with companies like Casetify, Sprouts Farmers Market and Body Armor.

Claire Chaussee – Louisville

Position: Outside Hitter
On3 NIL Valuation: $27,000
On3 Women’s NIL 100 ranking: 89
Per Post Value: $461

Louisville outside hitter Claire Chaussee was named the ACC Player of the Year on Monday.

Entering the 2022 NCAA Tournament, Chaussee leads the Cardinals with 3.81 kills per set to fuel the Louisville offense. She tallied more than 370 kills and registered four double-doubles, logging 10 or more kills 20 times. She helped keep Louisville’s hopes at a share of the ACC title alive with a season-high 27 kills in a five-set victory over Georgia Tech.

The Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, native was named ACC Player of the Week five times during the 2022 season. In 2021, she was named to the All-Louisville Regional team and All-ACC second team.

Chaussee has built a big social media following, including more than 30,000 on TikTok. Her success on the court and following has helped her ink NIL deals with DKNY, Altar’d State and others. With a strong showing in the NCAA Tournament, her On3 NIL Valuation of $27,000 could easily climb.

About the On3 NIL Valuation

The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV).

A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation calculates an athlete’s NIL value using dynamic data points targeting three primary categories:

+ Performance
+ Influence
+ Exposure

While the algorithm includes deal data, it does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals athletes have completed to date, nor does it set an athlete’s NIL valuation for their entire career. The On3 NIL Valuation calculates the optimized NIL opportunity for athletes relative to the overall NIL market and projects out to as long as 12 months into the future. The On3 NIL Valuation is publicly available. Performance, Influence, and Exposure ratings are available only to the athlete in the “Athlete Verified” private dashboard.
