As the New York Jets trailed the Cincinnati Bengals 14-6 in the second quarter Sunday, former Alabama defensive lineman and Jets first-rounder Quinnen Williams got heated with defensive line coach Aaron Whitecotton on the sideline. The two came face to face, and Williams was visibly enraged in the moment.

The two were separated by teammates and staff, but not before the CBS cameras caught the action unfold on the New York sideline.

Williams was selected No. 3 overall in the 2019 NFL Draft by the Jets, and has since compiled 140 total tackles, 16 sacks and a fumble recovery since he entered the league. He’s only managed four tackles this season, but has been credited with half a sack and a pass deflection.

WATCH: Garrett Wilson catches first NFL touchdown for New York Jets in return to Ohio

Garrett Wilson is officially on the board in the NFL, catching his first career touchdown pass on Sunday for the New York Jets.

Returning to Ohio to play the Cleveland Browns, the former Ohio State star knotted the AFC showdown up at seven apiece by hauling in a score from Jets quarterback Joe Flacco.

While Wilson was drafted to become the top target of former second overall pick Zach Wilson, injuries have been the story of the former BYU star’s career thus far. Last week, Flacco couldn’t lead the Jets to victory over the Baltimore Ravens, but things are going a little better for New York in Cleveland.

Nevertheless, his first touchdown catch will hopefully be the first of many for the former Ohio State star. The Jets are high on Garrett Wilson, and it’s easy to see why with the immense talent he possesses.
