Former Alabama linebacker King Mwikuta announced on Friday that he will continue his college football career at Arkansas State. Mwikuta shared a video of nearly a minute on Twitter donning his new uniform.

In three years in Tuscaloosa, the edge rusher recorded six tackles, and four of them came when he was a true freshman. His biggest impact for the Tide was on special teams.

Mwikuta is a Georgia native and was a four-star recruit according to On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 10 edge rusher and No. 19 player out of Georgia in 2019. Overall, he was ranked No. 159 nationally.

He joins a Red Wolves team that had a rough 2021 season, as they went 2-10 and won just one Sun Belt game in head coach Butch Jones’ first season.
