Jacksonville Trinity Christian Academy four-star running back and former Oklahoma commit Treyaun Webb posted Monday on Twitter that he will not be following Lincoln Riley to USC.

Webb decommitted Sunday from the Sooners. He is one of six prospects decommit from Oklahoma since yesterday.

“Just wanted to clear the air by saying, that I will not be following anyone anywhere and that I will not be going to USC,” Webb tweeted, starting each word with a capital letter. “I will be creating my own path and will not be making any decisions anytime soon.”

Webb is the No. 128 overall prospect in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies

He said that he decommitted due to the recent coaching changes.

“First off, I would like to thank the University of Oklahoma and the coaching staff for believing in me and welcoming me with open arms,” Webb told On3’s Hayes Fawcett. “It has been a wild recruiting process for me to say the least, but at the end of the day, I have to do what’s best for me.”

He originally committed to the Sooners over Georgia and Ohio State.

It has been a hectic weekend for Treyaun Webb. He started it by rushing for 291 yards and three touchdowns on just 15 carries to lead over Quincy (Fla.) Munroe to earn a spot in the Florida state Class 3A semifinals.

He then found out about the Lincoln Riley departure Sunday, taking to Twitter like many other prospects to react to the news.

Next was his decommitment, and now, this declaration that he will not be heading to Los Angeles.
