Four-star interior offensive lineman Liam Andrews of Brookline (MA) Dexter School has narrowed his list to eight schools.

The 6-foot-5, 270 pounder is down to the following: Penn State, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Florida, South Carolina, LSU, Miami, and Oklahoma.

Andrews went in-depth on his finalists with On3.

Penn State Nittany Lions

“Penn State has been recruiting me very hard since my recruitment started to heat up. I have a great relationship with both ol/dl staff and I feel like they are a team that could compete for a national championship soon.”

Ohio State Buckeyes

“Ohio State has been great at producing NFL talent and is consistently in the national football playoffs. I have a good relationship with the staff there as well.”

Wisconsin Badgers

“Wisconsin is another team that has been recruiting very hard. I have a great connection with dl Coach Scruggs and could see Wisconsin being a team to rise up in the Big 10 with Luke Fickell and the staff he has brought. Wisco is also a top academic school that offers a great degree.”

Florida Gators

“Florida is another team recruiting me for both sides of the ball. They are a team that has had a lot of success in the 2024 recruiting cycle and a team I think could rise up in the SEC. They play top tier competition in the SEC and offer a great degree as well.”

South Carolina Gamecocks

“South Carolina is another SEC team that I think is on the rise. They have beaten top teams in the SEC and have gained some great recruits in this years and last years class. I like the culture and vibe that Coach Beamer and the staff has instilled in the program.”

LSU Tigers

“LSU is a program with great tradition. New dl coach, Coach Lindsey the former South Carolina coach has been recruiting me hard and I have built a great connection with him. Now he is with the Tigers who have a fantastic environment and culture built on graduating champions under HC Brian Kelly.”

Miami Hurricanes

“Miami is a program centered around the trenches. Coach Cristobal is a former o lineman coupled with Coach Mirabal an ol guru they are a great program for o linemen. U Miami is also in a beautiful area and is a place with great football history.”

Oklahoma Sooners

“Oklahoma is a place with great culture. They have a great program for personal development outside of football and have a great fanbase and culture. Ol Coach Bedenbaugh is a great developer of NFL talent as well.”

Andrews ranks as the No. 77 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 1 interior offensive lineman and the No. 2 player in the state of Massachusetts.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $104K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
