Lees Summit (Mo.) North offensive tackle Cayden Green is down to five schools, he announced on Wednesday.

Green is the No. 75 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 6 offensive tackle and the No. 2 junior prospect in the Show Me State.

Among his finalists are: Oklahoma, Missouri, Michigan, Miami, and Nebraska.

The Sooners are considered the overwhelming favorite to land him, with the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine giving them a 97.1 percent chance of securing Cayden Green’s commitment. The 6-foot-6, 309-pounder has amassed more than two dozen offers, but has primarily focused his attention over the past few months on Missouri, Iowa, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Michigan and Nebraska.

He is in the midst of a busy spring visit schedule, having seen Oklahoma on March 5, Michigan on March 12 and Nebraska and Missouri earlier this week.

Missouri has gone all-out to keep the prized big man home, including Tigers coach Eli Drinkwitz going so far as to show up in a dump truck at Green’s school in January. But Green has a strong relationship with Oklahoma offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh, who elected not to follow head coach Lincoln Riley to USC.

Miami, led by former Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal, has made Green a priority dating back to his time in Eugene. And Green said recently that he plans to take an official visit to Coral Gables, with Michigan, Missouri and Oklahoma the other schools expected to receive them.
