Four-star offensive tackle Cayden Green of Lee Summit (Mo.) North High has narrowed his list to five schools- Nebraska, Miami, Oklahoma, Michigan, and Missouri.

The 6-foot-5, 315 pounder is ranked as the No. 75 player in the 2023 class according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting services. Green also ranks as the No. 6 offensive tackle in the nation, and the second-best player in Missouri.

Green went in depth on each of the finalists.

Nebraska

“I went there Monday and they really blew me away,” Green said. “I was looking for a 5th and they really surprised me. Their staff is very genuine and very good people. It is also only about a 3 hour drive from my house so that is a big plus for us.”

Miami

“I am a big fan of this program,” Green said. “I really like the staff and I talked to coach Miribal at Oregon a lot. We were going to get up and see them at Oregon so now that they are in Miami that is even better!”

Oklahoma

“Growing up this has always been one of the programs I’ve followed,” Green said. “This staff is one of my favorites because of how genuine they are and how much they care about the development of the person. This program is also one of the best in college football history and puts out NFL caliber linemen every year.”

Michigan

“I am a big fan of the way this program has been performing the past few years,” Green said. “I am also a big fan of coach Moore. He is very good at what he does. Winning the Joe Moore award for your first year coaching offensive line is very impressive and something you have to pay attention to as a lineman recruit.”

Missouri

“This is obviously my home state school so that alone gives them an advantage for me,” Green said. “They are only about an hour 45 minutes away so if something were to happen it’s a quick trip for me back home. I also believe this program has the potential to be very good in the next few years because of how well of a job Coach Drink is doing with recruiting. Coach Johnson also has put out quite a few NFL lineman in his coaching career.”
