Four-Star OT Daniel Calhoun names Top 10

Four-star offensive tackle Daniel Calhoun of Roswell (GA) Centennial High narrowed his list to 10 schools–Ohio State, Clemson, Alabama, Florida, LSU, Oklahoma, Florida State, Tennessee, Texas, and Georgia.

The 6-foot-7, 350 pounder discussed his finalists.

Ohio State: Ohio State is a very good program in the Big Ten. Kind of put you in the mind of the SEC. They play Smash Mouth football.

Clemson: Clemson is a great school and they’re on the top of the ACC conference. Coach Dabo is a great passionate coach along with Coach Austin. And I look good in that purple and orange.

Alabama: Bama put offensive lineman in the league every year. Coach Saban is the G.O.A.T. ROLL TIDE!!!

Florida: Florida has five offensive linemen coaches. And a dope brand new facility.

LSU: Coach Davis is a great offensive line coach. He recruited my brother. LSU has my respect. They started two freshmen on the offensive line this year. If you can play, you will play at LSU.

Oklahoma: Coach Bill Benb was one of the first schools that offered me. Trent Williams is a (DOG)that came from Oklahoma, and I could be the next!!!

Florida State: Coach Atkins doing things. FSU is coming up in the ACC. Coach Norvell has that energy. I have a chance at playing as a true freshman at FSU!!!

Tennessee: Coach Hype has a great offensive scheme. Tennessee has a great fan base. I can see myself playing there.

Texas: I like the coaches there. Coach Flood coached some of the best offensive lineman in college that made it to the league. Everything is big in Texas. Hook’em!!!

Georgia: Coach Kirby Smart, the Georgia Bulldogs was my very first offer coming out of the eighth grade! I have a great relationship with all the coaches. I really like the program. GO DAWGS!!!
