Throughout the rest of the summer, college football fans will discuss some of the 2023 season’s biggest matchups. Debate will rage on but now, the TV partners are getting involved. Networks for high-level games are now being decided, with two being announced on Monday.

Fox will have a huge Week 1 and Week 13 matchup, with Colorado at TCU (Sept. 2) and Ohio State at Michigan (Nov. 25) being broadcasted on the network. While no official kickoff times have been announced, Fox has put their major matchups on Big Noon Kickoff over the past few years.

An early kickoff time would be nothing new for Michigan-Ohio State on Fox, traditionally playing in that time slot. Fans may have to arrive at the Big House early but the intensity will still be at an all-time high. We might be six months out from the two arch-rivals stepping onto the field but there is expected to be plenty on the line.

Colorado-TCU will provided plenty of headlines as well. Head coach Deion Sanders will be making his Power Five debut after be the story of the offseason. It’s almost hard to count how many players have either joined or left via the NCAA transfer portal, giving the Buffaloes a whole new look.

Of course, TCU is fresh off their national championship appearance. Sonny Dykes will have a new look squad of his own, hoping to continue the Horned Frogs’ success heading into Year Two.

Which crews were assigned to the games were not revealed by Fox either. However, you have to imagine Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt will be on the call, with Jenny Taft on the sidelines — providing plenty of excitement to the matchups.

Fox to have top games as college football broadcasts continue to change

How college football is broadcast is going to look different over the next few years. Fox will continue to have some of the sport’s top matchups and likely kicking off at noon ET. However, the Big Ten will be adding CBS and NBC to their lineup.

Penn State‘s game against Iowa was just announced as the yearly Whiteout, with CBS planning for a primetime showdown. It will come after the traditional SEC on CBS broadcast — which is in its final year.

ESPN will always bring some top-level games too. When the time comes for the College Football Playoff and national championship game, the world wide leader in sports will be the sport’s hub.
