The Packers have released their list of inactive players for Sunday’s Week 3 showdown with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In what could be the final matchup between Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady, Green Bay will take their show on the road to Raymond James Stadium for a highly-anticipated game. Last season, the Buccaneers destroyed the Packers — Rodgers and company will be looking for a closer matchup this season.

After starting the season with a disappointing loss to the Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay rebounded with a victory over the Chicago Bears. Meanwhile, the Buccaneers are sitting at 2-0 after defeating the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints.

However, Brady will be missing one of his favorite targets in wide receiver Mike Evans, who is suspended this weekend after an altercation with Saints defensive back Marshon Lattimore.

Regardless, here’s who won’t be on the field when the Packers and Buccaneers take the field for Sunday’s Week 3 showdown.

Green Bay Packers Inactives:

  • WR Christian Watson
  • OT Rasheed Walker
  • OT Caleb Jones
  • OL Sean Rhyan
  • WR Samori Toure
  • DL Jonathan Ford

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Inactives:

  • WR Chris Godwin
  • DL Akiem Hicks
  • WR Julio Jones
  • CB Zyon McCollum

Packers place Sammy Watkins on IR, announce other additions

Moreover, the Green Bay Packers made multiple roster moves ahead of their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week. One of Aaron Rodgers’ top targets is now heading to the injured reserve, too.

Green Bay placed Sammy Watkins on the IR with a hamstring injury on Saturday, more than 24 hours ahead of its matchup against Tom Brady and the Buccaneers on Sunday. As a result, Juwann Winfree is moving up from the practice squad.

Running back Patrick Taylor is also joining the big club from the practice squad, the team announced.

Watkins started this week limited in practice, but missed Thursday and Friday before Green Bay ruled him out for Sunday’s game. He currently leads the Packers in receiving yards with 111 receiving yards, but doesn’t have a receiving touchdown yet.
